Why Nihongo?
Japanese is a very intriguing and complex language to learn (ex: with their three writing systems and such). Having taken interest in learning East Asian languages and their relationship with Chinese characters (ex: Kanji (JAP), Hanja (KOR)), Japanese seemed to me a good opportunity to fulfill those interests. So far the particles are a bit challenging to memorize, and I expect to find some difficulties in learning kanji. However it seems interesting, so I'm looking forward to it. Simply put, Japanese is cool. I am so far enjoying learning this language very much.

I share your challenges in understanding all of the particles. I think it is very awesome that you want to be able to understand more of the Eastern Asian languages and writings.
ReplyDeleteYes,I think the challenges that come with particles are something we can all relate to. And yes, East Asian languages are certainly intriguing and lovely languages to study. Though, I hope to expand my interests further into other global languages, such as the romance languages.
